Only you care about Iowa. *mwah!*

I don't think USC will be as powerful this year as they are rated in Lindy's. I didn't know they lost 11 people to the NFL. All new linebackers?? Hmmm...they'll have to learn quick-especially since what? 4 other schools in their schedule have "better" QBs...Or maybe "more experience" is more accurate...

I sure hope my Irish pull their heads out of Charlie Weis' butt this year. That would be nice.

Good season shaping up!

No, I am with him and a lot of other people care about Iowa. We are the smallest state in the Big 10, but are among the tops in terms of financial supporters.

We may not be OSU or Meatchicken, but we have had a solid program for 30 years now since Fry came on board.

CLEND says no one cares about Iowa because she knows how much Bird cares about Iowa ;)

I am with MOSP in hoping Rodriguez' tour at Michigan lasts 12 more games

I watched a tape of his introductory press conference, he was like do you have to be a Michigan man to coach at Michigan? The last time Michigan didn't hire a Michigan man was Bo Schemebechler. Comparing himself to Bo, that is a sin. While Bo was not a Michigan man, he was an assistant under Woody, so he knew about the traditions and everything

Bo's first year (1969), he won the Big 10, beat OSU in what is often considered the greatest upset ever in college football, and went to the Rose Bowl

Rodriquez' first year he went 3-9, the most losses ever in Michigan history, most home losses ever, and broke the record strings of consecutive non losing seasons and bowl games... and worst loss to OSU since 1968, the one where we fired Bump Elliott and hired Bo.

^Is that the year after Woody went for 2 because he couldn't go for 3?

if your question is about the 1968 game, yes

in 1969 when Bo coached the greatest football upset ever, Michigan over Ohio State, that 68-69 Ohio State team is certainly among the best teams ever in NCAA history, would make any top five of those -

Michigan players allege rules were broken:

Year 2 of the Rich Rodriguez era doesn't look very promising either. Over/under on how many players transfer to Ohio State this year?

This year could be worse for meatchicken.

Can you imagine how uncomfortable the practices are now? A lot of the players obviously hate the guy.

I actually respect Michigan a great deal. We have had many great games with them since the Fry era. It really brings down the whole conference as well.
